Drove back out to AC today for the Red Chip Poker East coast meet up that’s happening this weekend. Drove all day and didn’t get into AC until about 8 pm, so I missed the first meet up that was held this afternoon at the Golden Nugget. I heard from ChipXtractor that it was a really good game that ended up being half NLHE and half PLO. By the way, if you don’t know who ChipXtractor is, you should subscribe to his blog here. Below is a tweet by Red Chipper Zac Shaw showing a couple of Red Chip members crushing it (or getting crushed?).

Must have been pretty crazy (these meet up games usually are) because even though it was only $1/$2, there were still some $2000 swings. Nuts.
In the evening we all got together at the Borgata. Some of us hit the poker room and others hit the bar, though the bar is where we all ended up eventually. I played for 3 hours and had a very quiet, kind of uneventful table. Was able to grind out a little over $100 in profit which I’m pretty happy with considering how tight and dead the table was. If you remember how my trip to AC started last week (read about it here and here), an uneventful session, even if only slightly profitable, was a welcome beginning.

The plan for tomorrow is to meet up for breakfast then head over to the Golden Nugget for another crazy $1/$2 session around noon. Not sure how I feel about playing in this game. I know my bankroll definitely can’t handle $2000 swings. Maybe I’ll just short-stack ’em and buy in for like $80 and just shove aces and kings. LOL. Wait, maybe that’s not a bad plan. Though I guess I kind of ruined it by posting it here. Oh well.
If you’re in AC this weekend, be sure to stop by and say hello. Always interested in meeting readers of the blog.
